Lawyers Without Rights is an Exhibit being held in the South Atrium of the Rotary Centre for the Arts from May 15 to May 24, a travelling exhibit shown in over 35 cities in Germany, Israel, US and Mexico as well as Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver and Victoria. It documents what can happen when the rule of law and the rights and freedoms of all citizens are undermined by state interference.
The exhibit is presented by the Friends of the Simon Wiesenthal Centre for Holocaust Studies, the Vancouver Holocaust Education Centre and the Law Society of British Columbia and is hosted locally by the Okanagan Jewish Community.
