Cara Matthew - Jazz/Blues Vocalist
CD Release Party Cara is a twenty-seven year old jazz and blues vocalist. She was born and raised in British Columbia and has recently moved to Toronto, Ontario. Cara has performed with Juno nominated jazz singer George St. Kitts and has had the pleasure of singing with world renowned Canadian tenor, Michael Burgess. Cara has received various awards and scholarships for her vocal capabilities, such as the Most Outstanding Jazz Vocalist of the Year Award at the B.C. Interior Jazz Festival, the Most Promising Performer at the Kiwanis Music Festival and scholarships including Berkley School of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. Cara's first CD release party is is on May 22.
