Regional District Art Wall
A selection of prints from Central Okanagan artist Lynden Beesley are on display through the end of May on the Regional District of Central Okanagan Art Wall. The office is located at 1450 KLO Road and is open weekdays, excluding statutory holidays, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Lynden works in several media, graduating in 2001 from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, specializing in printmaking and sculpture. The prints on display during April are a combination of woodcut and intaglio techniques. They celebrate gardens and the foliage of the valley. In May, a selection of her woodcuts will be on display depicting the four seasons. She’s active in the local arts community, serving as President of the Kelowna Sculptors Network Society, a docent at the Kelowna Art Gallery ‘Art in Site’ program and a member of the Ars Longa artists group. |
