Two people were taken to hospital Monday evening after a pair of vehicles went off the embankment in the 4000 block of Glenmore Rd. about 3 km north of the Glenmore Landfill.
The investigation is ongoing but it appears the two vehicles collided around 4:30 p.m. and then slid down a 4m bank, through a fence and came to rest only meters from the edge of a marsh.
RCMP are not releasing details at this time but stress that speed is often a factor in accidents that occur on this stretch of road.
