Elderly man still missing

The search for 80-year-old Shengyun Song continues in Langley.
Mr. Song was reported missing at 7:00 p.m. on March 21st by his son. Police were advised Mr. Song had left his residence in the 8600 block of 206B Street in North Langley to go for a walk alone and has not returned home.
Mr. Song is a resident of China and does not speak any English.
He is described as Elderly Asian Male, with balding white hair, 5 foot 7 inches tall and weighs 147 lbs. He is wearing a blue puffy jacket, pants, and brown shoes with a white stripe (as seen in the photograph).
Central Fraser Valley Search and Rescue continued a search of the area until 1:30 this morning through the wooded areas from 87th Avenue North to the Fraser River, including Derby Reach. Search and Rescue also utilized their own Air Services, specializing in low level flying airplanes to assist with the search. RCMP’s Air One was also deployed and assisted with the search during the day and night. Search and Rescue have searched a 4 km radius around Mr. Song's home.
Langley RCMP Auxiliary Constables will canvass the area today and distribute photographs of the missing man. Further, the photograph has been provided to the Coast Mountain Bus Company, Transit and Transit Police in case Mr. Song attempts to use any form of Transit.
The search will continue to focus to the north and into Maple Ridge and encourage the public who may be in the area, specifically in parks to be on the look out for him.
Anyone with information that would assist police to locate Mr. Shengyun Song is asked to call Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200.
