A Swedish Invasion?

They are a self-managed, hard working group, and one that is becoming known throughout Europe as the vanguard of a Swedish Invasion.  I’ve written about these lads before, and have become good friends with their Lead Vocalist.  They are ‘Bai Bang’…a hard rocking no nonsense band of musicians that possess the age-old work ethic that will guarantee  them success.  In numerous conversations with Diddi, the group’s Lead Vocalist, I’ve had the opportunity to track the development of their next album.  “All Around The World” which will be unleashed in April, and you guessed it, with a worldwide deal from AOR Records!  Between this and their last release of 2011, “Bai Bang” have made inroads all across the globe , with incessant touring.  They have garnered legions of fans from Egypt to London!  In 2013, North America is within their sights.  So, don’t be surprised to see them touch down in Kelowna sometime this year!

Not just ‘Bai Bang’, but “The Poodles”, four unruly dogs from the same grand country of Sweden will be making their mark on North America!  Don’t be misled by their name, this quartet Rocks with the best of them!  A number one album in their home country; “Performocracy” in 2011 further inspired these lads to do it up right!  Frontiers Records are about to release their eagerly awaited follow-up…”Tour de Force”!  The album will hit North American record stores in the latter part of May.  As we know, the World Championships of Hockey will be held in Stockholm and the Swedish team’s official theme song will be performed by this very group!

Last week I wrote a little on ‘Whitesnake’.  I mentioned that the present line-up was a stripped down affair.  More Rock than Pomp…here is a video that showcases the way this groups performs now!  Nothing but great Singing and Playing—a fantastic concert to attend, and 2013 will see the group hit more stages in North America!
