CRIME: BREAK OUT OF BUSINESS

DATE: February 13, 2013

RCMP FILE: 2013-6721

RCMP are asking for your help in identifying this man who “broke out” of the Old Train Station Pub located at 1177 Ellis Street. A business alarm sounded at 4:30 AM on February 13 but nothing appeared out of the ordinary to the police or the property representative who arrived on scene. Upon viewing video surveillance cameras the next day, it was discovered that a male had either hidden or fallen asleep in the bathroom. Upon his exit he helped himself to liquor and food.

CRIME: THEFT FROM VEHICLE

DATE: March 15, 2013

RCMP FILE: 2013-11977

Kelowna RCMP received a call from a man on the 700 block of Gerstmar Road at 3:36 AM on March 15, 2013. He had been sleeping when he heard his car alarm go off. Upon investigation it was discovered that suspect(s) had smashed a small rear window and reached in to unlock the car door. The thieves got away with three tool cases that had been on the back seat. The tool cases were a ½” Nokia impact driver set, a Makita cordless drill set and a Mastercraft 300-piece tool set.
