Pro-developement at City Hall

When I heard the Phrase "Kelowna ,Open for business" I wasn't sure what that meant when our Beloved Mayor of Kelowna said it some time ago, but now I know that's the ringing of the foodbell for the Developers.

How many people have noticed all the blue/white development signs lately and the properties being developed being A-1 and ALR Agriculture land, and every empty space left in Kelowna.

Pro-development so quickly doesn't do well for food growing or the natural growth of a community.

City Council for Kelowna is selling out our future , how many more Hotels, high-end condos and thousands of homes to be built on the south slope ,without the Infrastructure to handle, and wheres the water coming from, sewage going and our short life garbage dump to take peoples garbage?

The City of Kelowna is on a slippery slope and the economy is not that rosy as the real estate wants you to believe. With a city that had some major companies at one time and many through the valley that are no longer employing the locals, where is this development going?

Who's moving here?

The taxpayers will be on the hook for all the future problems, and the people making the decisions wont be found or will deny any culpability.

Write a letter, email your MLA,Mayor or just get involved in Local affairs-or even just join your neighbourhood association!

The Elected are to represent the citizens and work for us, not rule US!

S.O.U.L. Save Our Undeveloped Land!
