Bus issue

I watched the council meeting this morning & wish to comment on the low ridership on the #9 bus service. It is not a surprise that it was very low this winter.

With the snow plows piling the snow high along the curbs, too high to step over & the icy sidewalks, how did they expect us to get to the bus stops.

I personally know of three people that fell on the ice. I didn’t use the bus for at least six weeks. When I “had” to go out I used the services of the Handy Dart or took a taxi. I’m sure others felt house bound during that time this winter and didn’t go out unless it was very necessary.
