Environment Canada is warning drivers to use extreme caution while travelling on the Coquihalla Highway through BC's Interior.
Officials say heavy snowfall and icy conditions are expected throughout the evening.
Environment Canada forecaster, Greg Pierce, says about 40 centimetres of snow fell on the highway over the past 24 hours.
He says they're expecting another 25 centimetres overnight.
Pierce says conditions should improve tomorrow, but for now, drivers should use Highway 1 or other alternate routes.
