DATE: March 11, 2013

RCMP FILE: 2013-11255

The BARE wetsuits you find at a discounted price may be stolen….. West Kelowna RCMP received an alarm at 6:30 AM on March 11, 2013 from an aquatic store located on the 2400 block of Main Street in West Kelowna. Upon attendance police found that a suspect had smashed the front door glass with a hammer and had crawled through the hole. The man stole ten or so “Bare” brand wetsuits (value up to $200 each). Video surveillance caught the man in the photos below. He is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 30-years-old, wearing ripped blue jeans, white and red shoes, black hoodie with orange drawstring and most likely has a moustache.

RCMP FILE: 2013-11698

The resident of a home on the 1300 block of Ponderosa Court in West Kelowna reported a theft on March 13, 2013 at 5:30 PM. A neighbor noticed a suspicious vehicle parked in the driveway around 5:00, and when the owner returned home discovered that the shed had the locks cut and had been broken into. Four tires and factory rims for a 2000 Honda Civic were stolen. Several other sheds in the area were also tampered with. The male person of interest was driving an older white Volkswagen Rabbit that was missing a rear bumper.
