Today, Picture the Okanagan brings you on a 650 km, one day trip around Kelowna. Leaving Peachland at dawn, you will arrive in Penticton in time to witness a perfect Okanagan Lake reflection, or watch Okanagan Falls waking up across Skaha Lake.
Then, you’ll be able to enjoy the early rays of sun and a breathtaking, relaxing & amazing panoramic view of Osoyoos, while enjoying a delicious coffee from one of the downtown shops.
Going East on Highway 3 in the Boundary Country will bring you to the Far West with style. Well, it’s actually very close to us. Welcome to Greenwood! Boasting the title of being the Smallest City in Canada & having some of the best water in the world, it’s a perfect match!
You will also be able to watch all kinds of wildlife like eagles, deer, big horn sheep & a red nose reindeer on your way to Grand Forks.
Just 20 km past Grand Forks you’ll discover Christina Lake, the warmest lake in the country, the magnificent Cascade Gorge, and an area filled with history.
Returning to Kelowna using Highway 33 reminded me of the Western Canada movies I used to watch when I was a kid. Relaxing, refreshing, the big tall trees, mountains, snow and nature everywhere. Here's a quick peek at Big White Mountain.
Entering Kelowna, you’ll be able to watch another amazing Okanagan Sunset, before going back home with great new memories to share with your friends & family.
