Now that the outdoor rink at Stuart Park is closed for the season, where do you go for a 'Free' twirl on the ice?

What about Prospera this afternoon?

Castanet.net and Creative Okanagan have partnered with the City of Kelowna to offer a free family skate Friday, March 15 from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m.

What a great way to say goodbye to the first week of Spring Break.

All you need is a pair of skates, there are not skate rentals at Prospera Place. We are accepting non-perishable food items for the Kelowna Community Food Bank.

Joel Kutschera's Vital Waters Inc. will supply free water. Vital Waters is a great community partner, they donate free water to many charitable groups around the Okanagan.

To keep parents warm and on their toes, Sacha Pelletier and the great team at Starbucks in Mission Creek will brew up coffee for the event.

If you've never had the opportunity to skate on the same ice as the Kelowna Rockets - this is your chance.

Enter Prospera along the side doors, across from the Rotary Centre for the Arts. Look for the Castanet signs and truck, see you there!
