The West Kelowna Warriors will enter the post season on a four game winning streak.
The Warriors completed a sweep of their season ending three game Vancouver Island road trip Sunday with a 3-2 win in Nanaimo.
And, as was the case in their wins in Victoria and Cowichan Valley, they had to come from behind to earn the two points.
Trailing 2-0 after one, the Warriors began the comeback in the final period.
Marcus Basara got the Warriors on the board nearly eight minutes in to the third with his team leading 33rd of the season.
The game would turn later in the period when Mason Mitchell was assessed a major penalty for contacting Warriors Matt Anholt with a blow to the head.
David Pope tied it during the major then, with Nanaimo down two men after another minor penalty Josh Monk blasted home the game winner with less than three minutes left in regulation time.
Basara and Pope both had a goal and an assist while Seb Lloyd finished with two assists.
Steven Myland, playing his second game in as many days, picked up the win between the pipes, earning his sixth win of the season and lowering his goals against average to an even 2.00.
West Kelowna finished the regular season 30-13-4-9, good for 73 points, second in the Interior Division, two points in back of division champion Penticton Vees.
The Warriors enter the first round of the playoffs against Merritt the hottest team in the BC Hockey League.
They won four in a row and, over their final 23 games, went 17-2-2-2.
Games one and two of the opening round series between the Warriors and Centennials will be played Friday and Saturday at Royal LePage Place.
The Warriors will hold their annual awards banquet Monday night at 19 Okanagan Bar and Grill at Two Eagles Golf Course.
The evening begins at 6 p.m.
Tickets are $20 and available at the Warriors office at the Mount Boucherie Complex.
