CRIME: BREAK AND ENTER - COMMERCIAL

DATE: March 4, 2013

RCMP FILE: 2013-10191

The yard of a concrete business located on the 1200 block of Findlay Road was entered during the week-end of March 1-4, 2013. Suspects cut through a back fence and left with a $1500 metal/concrete chop saw. The saw was a 14” orange and white Stihl TS420 chop saw; serial number 175779975.

CRIME: ASSAULT CAUSING BODILY HARM

DATE: February 8, 2013

RCMP FILE: 2013-6013

On Wednesday, February 6, 2013, a 23 year old Kelowna man was walking home from the downtown area when he was assaulted. The attack occurred between 11:30 PM and midnight on Ellis Street between Harvey Avenue and Buckland Avenue. The man was grabbed from behind by the hair, thrown down to the ground and kicked numerous times. He suffered from a broken nose, a concussion and required stitches to the face. The motive of the attack is unclear as he was not robbed.
