Castanet viewer Travis Wheeler captured some great footage of fire crews trying to extinguish a vehicle fire.

Wheeler says he was headed home around 11 p.m. Tuesday night when a truck passed him along Old Vernon Road.

"It had a small fire in the back so I followed it. As I caught up to the guy, he had pulled over and the whole truck caught fire."

The driver of the truck escaped unharmed and crews were able to extinguish the flames, the truck however was destroyed.
