Noise Bylaw

Noise Bylaw

It is about time that a noise bylaw is put into place. Every time that I venture near busy streets in the summer I risk the assault of an unmuffled motorcycle. It is no wonder that many people including myself have hearing loss.

Why should motorcycles be the only vehicles that are allowed to inflict this pain? I remember listening to an outdoor concert at Jerry Park when a motorcycle purposely rounded the corner and accelerated in order to disrupt the concert and it certainly did that.

Many times I've been passed by a loud bike while traveling on our roads and suffered discomfort. Those who risk ruining their own hearing should not have the right to ruin mine!
