CRIME: BREAK AND ENTER

DATE: February 16, 2013

RCMP FILE: 2013-7191

Lake Country RCMP seek the identification of the individual(s) responsible for a break-in to a storage container located at the north end of George Elliot Secondary School. The suspect cut the wires of the Board of Education’s red 2009 Honda ATV in an attempt to jump start it, and when that failed he pushed it out of the large metal “big blue box” storage container. RCMP found it abandoned on the eastbound shoulder of Lodge Road just east of the roundabout at Bottom Wood Lake Road. Either it was too heavy to continue or they had planned to retrieve it with a truck.

If you know anything about this crime, or any other crime, call the Central Okanagan Crime Stoppers’ anonymous tips line at 1-800-222-TIPS or visit our website at www.crimestoppers.net. Your information will be kept confidential and could lead to a reward of up to $2000.00.
