Are you ready for Salsa Saturday?

This Saturday one of BC's top Latin dance bands arrives in Kelowna. Mazacote were last here for the amazingly popular Summer Street Social - where they filled Kerry Park with dancing.

If your in the mood to dance the Friday and Saturday edition are right up your alley.

MAZACOTE is a hard hitting six piece latin dance band, playing horn-driven New York salsa dura and beats from Colombia, Puerto Rico and Cuba.

Based in Vancouver, the band features Nicaraguan singer-songwriter David Lopez, with Grammy Award-winning Cuban percussionist Toto Berriel on congas, latin jazz trumpeter Malcolm Aiken, and a groove-heavy rhythm section featuring Chris Couto on timbales, Aaron McKinney on bass, and from Osaka Japan, pianist Niho Takase.  They perform across the West Coast at festivals and dance clubs, bringing the exciting latin dance party vibe to audiences of all ages!
