The drug bust took place at a residence in the 600 block of 2nd Avenue in Salmon Arm.

Salmon Arm RCMP officers have been busy over the past few days with drunk drivers and drug busts.

On Feb. 18 around 8 p.m., officers attended a single vehicle collision near the intersection of 5th Street and 9th Avenue. They found an intoxicated 53-year-old male driver from Salmon Arm. He facing charges of impaired driving.

The following day, police responded to a report of an intoxicated male near the train tracks on Marine Park Drive. A 66-year-old Salmon Arm resident was taken to police cells until he was able to sober up.

On Feb. 21 at approximately 8:30 p.m., RCMP officers executed a search warrant to a residence in the 600 block of 2nd Avenue. They were on scene searching for stolen property from the Salmon Arm area and also found a quantity of marijuana packaged for sale.
