Louie re-elected as Chief

Clarence Louie has been re-elected as Chief of the Oliver Indian Band for his 11th term. 

He defeated challenger Alex Louie by a vote of     192 - 43.

“The new OIB Chief and Council has very experienced leadership as all have served on Council before and will continue to work towards making our First Nation one of the countries most progressive," says Louie.

There were also five councillors elected, including three incumbents:

(x) indicates the four incumbents – one seat was added to this election due to a population increase.
