Ready for spring?  Time to clean out that garage?  Moving and need to downsize?  Post your Garage Sale on the new, updated Garage Sales section on Castanet!

This new section allows you to post your Garage Sale with up to 10 photos of your items for free. Your Garage Sale will be plotted on the map so that those anxious buyers can easily locate you! 

You also have the option to "feature" your Garage Sale for a small fee ($7.50) which will place your sale at the top of the list for better visibility.

Are you a bargain hunter?  Go to our new Garage Sale section and view the map.  You have the ability to create your own route of up to 10 garage sale locations.  You will then be shown a route planner with driving directions which is printable for your convenience!

Moira Hennen is still in shock. She lives in Kelowna and teaches in Penticton.  Moira won Castanet's Wicked WINter WINdfall contest.

"You mean I get it all?", Hennen said when she came to claim her prize. "Really, $10,000 worth of stuff? Wow!"

She says her family has plans for the prizes.

"My son phoned, he's been eyeing up my skis (Rossignol S7 from Fresh Air Concept). My daughter was looking at the gift certificate ($500) from the (Orchard Park) mall. We'll have to see who comes to Big White with us, we do have grandkids."

Hennon says the timing of the big win is perfect.

"We are having a wedding this summer at our house so the lumber ($1000 from Lake Country Building Centre) and the other gift certificates will be great."
