The Kelowna Actors Studio has unveiled a blockbuster line-up for its 2013-2014 season.

The 11th year includes the BC premier of an acclaimed Broadway musical, three amazing classic musicals, a blistering comedy with a cast of renowned Okanagan actors, the return of an audience favourite, the most beloved musical of all time and a classic children's book.

"I can't think of a more exciting, diverse lineup of plays," states Artistic Director, Randy Leslie.

"The season affirms the company's commitment to bringing the finest in theatre to Kelowna."

The new season is highlighted by Les Miserables, described as the most popular musical in the world and Disney's Beauty and the Beast.

The entire 2013-2014 lineup includes:

• Shirley Valentine - September 11 to 18
• Les Miserables  - October 23 to November 10
• Elf The Musical - December 4 to 22
• The 39 Steps - February 5 to 22, 2014
• Dr. Seuss's The Cat In The Hat - February 27 to March 2
• Company - March 26 to April 12
• Disney's Beauty and the Beast - May 21 to June 8
• Fiddler on the Roof - July 16 to August 3
