Canstruction builds family support
Here is a photo gallery from Canstruction taking place at Orchard Park Mall in support of the Kelowna Food Bank and the Salvation Army.
The can castle in the gallery is being constructed by St. Joseph's Elementary.
Their sign says:
Families Can Play Together - The students conceived and built the design. Special thanks to Colts Canstruction Team, the parents who raised the money, Save On who delivered the cans and Steve Root who engineered.
Mission Statement: To support families with nutritious food so they can stay healthy and play together.
Other teams are also building to help the cause. We've included a few of their structures in the gallery.
