Global Music Fest: Acts announced

Global Music Fest announces its line up for the 2013. GMF is one of the signature events that makes up Global Citizen Kelowna.

Castanet is partnering with Global Citizen Kelowna again this year and we will be sharing  a number of stories about the various Global Citizen Kelowna events as February unfolds.

Now lets get back to the music. Global Music Fest has been growing for the past three years. In the past it has featured acts such as Shane Koyczan, Andrew Allen, En Karma and many more rising stars from around BC. This year is no exception. So without further ado here is the line up for Global Music Fest 2013.

March 1st (19+): The Boom Booms & The Ponderosas (Laurel Packinghouse)

March 3rd (all ages): Jodi King featuring Love & The Outcome and Corey Doak (Trinity Baptist)
At each event there will be the opportunity for you to discover opportunities to get involved in acting and thinking globally. Discover the differance you can make in your community and around the world.

GMF Highlight Reel (March 1st and 2nd)

Tickets will also be on sale at The Bike Shop Cafe and Leo's video starting Tuesday, Feb 5th.

Ryan Donn, singer/songwriter who started his career around the same time that cassette tapes were losing out to CD sales. He produces events such as Global Music Fest,, and Music in the Park (West Kelowna). You can also find him in local schools teaching songwriting or sharing the stage with many of our emerging local artists. He is a passionate supporter of all things creative and his column focuses on the creative community and events throughout the Okanagan.
