Picture the Okanagan went to Vernon’s Winter Carnival. It was a beautiful and quiet morning. As I arrived on top of the bridge to Kelowna, the town was shining bright . Later on, the clouds progressively invited themselves, turning Wood Lake into a standstill picture, making it look like the perfect kayak destination that I’m gonna have to try in the next few weeks!
Then, in Vernon, a warm, animated and colorful winter parade was offered to the hundreds of bystanders gathered downtown.
In the afternoon, balloons were floating above downtown & Swan Lake, bringing joy to young and old.
The drive back home using Westside Road on that perfect Winter day also offered a handful of beautiful and amazing panoramas, wildlife shots and sky battles.
Synchronized with the sun, I was back to Kelowna just in time to watch the town shine once again before going to a rest for the night.
