CRIME: ROBBERY WITH WEAPON

DATE: March 18, 2012

RCMP FILE: 2012-12545

Kelowna RCMP are still looking to identify this man who robbed the Creekside Pub Liquor Store at 3929 Lakeshore Road on March 17, 2012. The man entered the liquor store shortly after 10:00 PM wearing a blue hoody and a mask. Armed with a knife, he said “let’s go” to the clerk and demanded cash. He left the store with an undisclosed amount of money and drove away in a silver or light blue 10 year old Toyota Camry with no rear license plate. The man is described as a Caucasian, 6’2” tall, medium build with a deep voice. Police found the hoody discarded on Cook Road a short time later. Check out videos of the suspect on our YouTube site.

CRIME: VENDING MACHINE THEFT

DATE: January 24, 2013

RCMP FILE: 2013-3652

Management of the IMPARK parking lots advised Kelowna RCMP that sometime during the early morning hours of January 23, 2013 someone had tampered with and stolen from three IMPARK cash machines located on Lawrence Avenue and St. Paul Street. A bolt cutter was used to cut the bars and puck locks on the machines so that the doors could be opened and cash removed.
