Rockets rocket up CHL rankings

The Kelowna Rockets continue to shoot up the Canadian Hockey League top 10 rankings.

The Rockets, who entered the top 10 for the first time last week moved up three spots to number five this week.

Kelowna (29-10-1-1) has won 15 straight on home ice and six in a row overall to move into a first place tie with the Kamloops Blazers atop the BC Division.

The Portland Winterhawks (3), Blazers (4) and Edmonton Oil Kings (7) are also in the top 10.

The The Rockets put their 15 game home ice winning streak on the line again tonight (Wednesday) when they host the Victoria Royals. Kelowna doubled the Royals 4-2 last Wednesday.
