Update: Ambulance called to Big White
A person suffering from exposure was taken from Big White late Tuesday afternoon.
Michael J. Ballingall, Big White Senior Vice President, says his people worked with BC Ambulance to get the male the medical attention he needed. He says, reports the male may have been in the water are false, the person was found between runs.
Ballingall says he is waiting to learn more from staff about the incident.
RCMP and BC Ambulance were called to an area around the Gem Lake run at around 3:30 p.m.
They report working on a man suffering from hypothermia, he was then taken to KGH by ambulance.
We do not have a report on the man's condition.
