The snowfall warning issued by Environment Canada for the Okanagan has now been cancelled, but they still expect 60 per cent chance of flurries this afternoon.

---------------

A snowfall warning has been issued by Environment Canada and is currently in effect for Kelowna and the rest of the Okanagan Valley.

They are expecting between 10-15 centimeters of snow to fall in Kelowna, Vernon and Penticton today.

According to Environment Canada's website, a weather system moving onto the coast is also crossing through the interior today. This system will bring heavy snowfall accumulations across the southern interior, but the snow is expected to taper off this afternoon.

They also warn of another winter storm heading our way on Tuesday afternoon, along with a ridge of Arctic air to round out the week on Thursday and Friday.

You can keep up to date on the situation by checking out our weather page.
