Rockets Cooke WHL's top goalie
Kelowna Rockets netminder Jordon Cooke is the Western Hockey League's goaltender of the month for December.
The 19-year-old Leduc, AB native was a perfect 6-0 through the month of December with a league best 2.00 goals against average.
He also posted a save percentage of .908 during the month.
Cooke is also riding a personal 11 game winning streak.
He hasn't lost since a 3-2 setback in Tri-City November 11.
Cooke is currently sixth among league goaltenders with a 2.48 goals against average and tied for fourth in wins with 18.
He also has three shutouts on the season.
Cooke, the second star in Wednesday's 4-2 win over Victoria, leads his teammates to Prince George for a pair of games against the Cougars Friday and Saturday night.
The Rockets put their 15 game home ice winning streak on the line next Wednesday night when they entertain the Victoria Royals.
