CRIME: THEFT UNDER $5000

DATE: December 12, 2012

RCMP FILE: 2012-68423

The owner of Mary Jane’s Headquarters located on Byland Road in West Kelowna reported the theft of a large sum of money from the store on December 12, 2012. The money was taken from a deposit drawer.

CRIME: BREAK AND ENTER - COMMERCIAL

DATE: December 15, 2012

RCMP FILE: 2012-68881

West Kelowna continues to be hit by vandals and thieves using vehicles to break into commercial buildings. The latest store to be targeted is a Lordco franchise located on the 2400 block of Main Street. An alarm was activated at the site just before 4:00 AM on December 15. The front door was smashed out with a vehicle and a small amount of items were taken in what appears to be a “smash and grab”.
