Holiday cheer around the valley

Opening of Bernard Ave.

Saturday December 15th, Kelowna celebrated the completion of the first phase of Bernard Ave revitalization project at Towne Centre Mall with Mayor Walter Gray. Delicious chocolate was served, live music was also on the menu, as well as Christmas carols and lots of fun for everyone!

Summerland Christmas Train

Thanks to the Kettle Valley Railway for organizing the Summerland Christmas Train again this year. It will be up and running until December 23rd, but all tickets are already sold out. Saturday was a great evening and a fresh new experience, and kudos to all the employees and volunteers, they were very courteous and made sure everyone had a wonderful experience aboard the train.

Peachland Christmas Light-Up

Hundreds were gathered in downtown Peachland Friday December 7th for the annual and festive Light-Up celebrations with Santa Claus! Make sure you come for a visit on Beach Ave. at night to see Peachland shining in its full glory! Also, last Saturday, there was the old fashion Christmas at Peachland Baptist Church, with Christmas carols, special music, refreshments and art crafts.

Finally, I wish everyone a joyful and safe holiday season. I look forward to seeing you back in January! In the meantime, I’m preparing a year in review with exclusive and never published before material, which will be rolled out next week!
