Snowy, slippery roads caused havoc during the Friday morning commute.

Two people were taken to hospital following a two vehicle collision on Byrns Road off Benvoulin.

The collision between a Ford truck and a Honda.

The impact sent the car partway down an embankment into a tangle of trees and branches.

Both vehicles sustained significant damage.

No word on the extent of injuries.

RCMP advise motorists to slow down and drive to conditions.
