Vernon Fire and Rescue crews were called to 472 Fortress Cres. Wednesday (Dec. 12) to fight a vehicle fire.
The fire appears to have started in the engine compartment and although crews were able to extinguish the fire in a short period of time the vehicle suffered major damage.
