RCMP FILE: 2012-38687

Kelowna RCMP continue to search for the man who is responsible for luring an 8-year-old girl into a change room at the YMCA on Hartman Road and fondling himself in front of her. He returned to the Y on August 2, but was recognized by staff and fled before police arrived. The man is described as a thin muscular Caucasian man, approximately 5’6-5’8” tall, late 40’s to early 50’s, with thinning sandy hair (bald area on top) and a thin mustache. During the first incident the man was wearing a dark WestJet ball cap, a green t-shirt with “High” in large print on the back, beige shorts and white tube socks. Police are hoping someone will recognize these articles of clothing and either call or submit a tip to Crime Stoppers.

RCMP FILE: 2012-64892

On November 22, 2012 at approximately 3:30 PM the owner of the Pandosy Food Basket located at 1953 Pandosy Street called to report a stabbing. A 41-year-old man had confronted a man possibly smoking drugs behind the store. The suspect attacked him with a small paring knife and fled eastbound on Sutherland Avenue. The victim was sent to KGH with non-life threatening injuries. The suspect is described as a slim 27-30 year old Caucasian, 5’ 9” tall, unshaven with short dark hair. He was wearing a white shirt, a dark hoodie and dark sweat pants. The man had a tattoo at the base of the right side of his neck.
