Hwy 97 reopens after crash

Update: Highway 97 is now reopen. The highway was closed after a two vehicle accident on the Channel Parkway near Skaha Ford. Several ambulances were called to the scene of the head-on crash. RCMP confirm, five people were taken to hospital
Highway 97 is closed in both directions 1 km south of Penticton because of a collision.
Detours are available via Duncan avenue and Fairview road.
