CRIME: RESIDENTIAL BREAK AND ENTER

DATE: November 10, 2012

RCMP FILE: 2012-62804

West Kelowna RCMP responded to a break-in alarm on the 2200 block of Pine Vista Place at about 3:00 AM on Saturday November 10. A rear sliding glass door was smashed with a rock and the home was ransacked. The culprits got away with a substantial amount of jewellery (gold bracelets/chains/rings) and collector currency including: many mint condition RCMP centennial $50 bills, $500-$600 of loose coins in zip lock bags, sheets of old collector coins and ten RCMP centennial silver dollars (in blue case with RCMP crest on case).

CRIME: RESIDENTIAL BREAK AND ENTER

The residents of a home in a complex located at 2440 Old Okanagan Highway had their place thoroughly cleaned out while away on holidays sometime in the week prior to October 30, 2012. Suspects entered through a rear window and left with many valuables including: credit cards and ID, US cash, a 2010 Olympic coin collection, women’s Ping golf clubs, a black, yellow and blue CMB Wakeboard, hundreds of Remix watches and watch bands, RaveShades sunglasses, men’s suits, duffel bags and suitcases, a 42” Samsung LCD TV, Paradigm speakers, Nintendo Wii, Sony PlayStation 3, Joe Sakic signed Team Canada hockey jersey and a Dell computer.
