Summerland to Wonderland
As it does every year, the month of November feels like it comes and goes so quickly and before you know it you are getting ready for Christmas once again.
This year the Summerland Chamber of Commerce is proud to present their 25th anniversary of the Festival of Lights on November 30th. A fun filled family event that will be holding nothing back while celebrating 25 great years.
Live ice carving, crafts for the kids, a larger than ever kid zone, food and Christmas gift vendors and of course, photos with Santa will all be part of the festivities.
To wrap up the incredible event, a dramatic fireworks display set to music will take place at 8:30pm followed by one of Canada’s shining stars playing a special one-hour performance on the main stage.
Andrew Allen, who has scored two Top 10 hits in Canada, starting with 2009′s “I Wanna Be Your Christmas” will help end the evening in style.
Also, Summerland’s Bottleneck Drive is hosting the 2nd annual Light Up The Vines wine event on December 1 & 2 from 3pm-7pm.
Stop in for wine tasting, special holiday promotions, a chance to win a prize valued at over $500 and of course see the vines lit up!
