Winter has arrived on the Okanagan Connector, Highway 97C.
The above shots were taken from the same Pennask Summit highway cam this morning. You cannot even see the road during the height of the snowfall in the image on the left, while the image on the right shows the highway after the stom moved on. The camera is located on Hwy 97C, 74km west of Kelowna, looking east. (elevation: 1717 metres)

Compact Snow Highway 97C Both directions - Compact Snow from Pennask Summitt (1728 metres) to Brenda Mine Road Exit (10.1 km).

OKANAGAN CONNECTOR - MERRITT TO KELOWNA
Today: flurries ending this morning then cloudy with 40 per cent chance of more flurries this afternoon. Accumulations of up to 5 cm. the snow level is at 600 metres.
Tonight: Cloudy with 30 per cent chance of flurries. Snow level remains at 600 metres lowering to the valley bottom this evening.
