Several people are in custody following an armed home invasion late Halloween night in the Capri area of Kelowna.

Cst. Kris Clark says police received a call at about 12:15 Thursday morning, reporting the home invasion in the 1300 block of Belaire Avenue.

"The report indicated two unknown men entered the home with guns and threatened the occupant," says Clark.

"The woman fled the residence and called 911."

Clark says police were able to track the suspects to a nearby house and affect arrests.

The investigation is still in its early stages. Clark was unable to say how many people had been arrested

While the suspects remain in custody Clark says no charges have yet been laid.

No injuries were reported.

Anyone with information pertaining to the home invasion is asked to contact Kelowna RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
