Big month for comedy in K-town

This week is Open Mic week and a chance for anyone to get on stage and try out stand-up comedy!  It’s a supportive atmosphere where professional comedians come to practice and amateur comedians work hard to get to the next level.

Tuesday October 30th – O’Flannigan’s Pub

This is the room that started it all for Train Wreck Comedy almost three years ago with only five comedians and a crowd that wasn’t usually much bigger. Now this is Train Wreck’s flagship room that is full every week for professional comedians or pro-am shows.  With Halloween falling on a Wednesday this year the show has been moved to Tuesday for this week and will return to its original Open Mic format for the first time in over a year with no cover charge and a 9pm start.

Thursday November 1st – Dakoda’s Sports Bar

Twice a month Train Wreck presents an Open Mic show at Dakoda’s and this Thursday is one of those nights.  For over eight months now Train Wreck has been crashing at Dakoda’s and you are invited to join in the fun this Thursday starting at 9pm.  There is also no cover for this show!

Upcoming Professional Features

November 14-15
Carter Hortie
Vancouver, BC

A loud, confident and outgoing comedy style with an incredible amount of laughs per minute! A fan favourite where ever he goes, Carter always puts on a high energy show with some carefully calculated satirical social commentary.

November 28-29
Dino Archie
Los Angeles, CA

Dino is a Train Wreck favourite and is back by popular demand.  Dino has sold out both Wednesday night shows he has played in Kelowna and this time he will probably sell-out Thursday night as well. With lots of relatable material and incredible crowd work, it’s no doubt why he is so popular here in Kelowna!
