Search continues for missing man
Six months after he was reported missing, RCMP are still no closer to locating William "Bill" Hermakin.
Hermakin, 49, has not been seen since April 26 of this year.
He was reported missing four days later.
It was determined at the time that Hermakin had picked up his ATV from a storage facility and left with it in the back of his truck.
The burned up ATV was found at the Adra Tunnel on the Kettle Valley Railway above Naramata. The truck was later found near the old Bellevue Trestle.
Extensive searches have been conducted near where both vehicles were discovered and in between without any success.
Police are asking hunters and hikers who frequent the area to keep an eye out for any signs of Hermakin's whereabouts and specifically, any items resembling Hermakin's clothing.
Hermakin was last seen wearing a white and green stripped dress shirt and blue jeans.
He is described as Caucasian, 5' 9", 185 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. He has a scar on his nose and both ears.
He is also under medical care and requires medication for his condition.
Anyone with information on William Hermakin is asked to contact Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300.
