Hold parents accountable for bullies

To the editor:

I just wanted to add my thoughts about the bullying issue that is now so apparent in the media, but has been around in the school setting forever.

At least in my life time anyway, and that would be 60 years.

In our country, and indeed, in our community, a young person driven to suicide due to a personal attack is totally unacceptable.

We need to show outrage and impose consequences for such a preventable situation.

The most important factor back then has not changed now.

It all begins with the parents!

Bring the parents of the tormentors to light.
