The Kelowna Rockets have seen quite enough of Cam Lanigan.

The Medicine Hat Tigers netminder stopped 55 shots and all three shootout attempts Wednesday night as the Tigers edged the visiting Rockets 4-3.

Lanigan was dealt from the Portland Winterhawks to Medicine Hat a week ago for a 7th round bantam draft choice.

While with the Winterhawks earlier this season, Lanigan stopped 31 shots in a 1-0 win over the Rockets.

On Wednesday, the Rockets peppered 58 shots at Lanigan including 19 in the third period and eight more in the five minute overtime period as they clawed their way back from a 3-1 deficit.

Zach Franko knotted the game up at 3-3 and forced overtime with his sixth of the season with just 24 seconds left in regulation time.

Franko also assisted on Madison Bowey's third of the season on a power-play early in the third to get the Rockets to within one.

Myles Bell also scored for the Rockets. Bell added an assist to run his team leading point total to 21.

Curtis Valk with two and Boston Leier scored for the Tigers who built a 2-0 lead before the game was eight minutes old.

They lead 3-1 going into the third.

Hunter Shinkaruk and Elgin Pearce beat Jordon Cooke in the shootout while Franko and Bell both missed for the Rockets.

Wednesday's game was the first of a four game Alberta road trip.

The trip continues with stops in Red Deer, Edmonton and Calgary.
