Mountain biker dies on trail

Penticton and District Search and Rescue on scene Sunday
A 52-year-old mountain biker died while riding in the Three Blind Mice Trail area in Penticton on Sunday.
Cindy Smith, search manager with Penticton and District Search and Rescue says there was an accident on the trail.
Search and rescue was called out to the scene around 10:45 a.m. A BC Ambulance helicopter team and RCMP officers were also at the location, accessed off Riddle Road in Penticton.
Further details are not available at this time.
Mountain bikers riding off the trail late Sunday, said the trail system is for advanced riders and can be quite dangerous in areas.
