Slow down and save gas

To the editor:

Re: Eclipsing the Sunshine Tax

Besides complaining, what are you doing to lower gas prices?

Are you driving less? Are you driving at or below the speed limit?

Do you have a sensible vehicle or are you towing an SUV behind your bus of a camper like I see so many of today?

It's all about the law of supply and demand, use less and prices will drop.

Your use of the accelerator pedal creates demand. Demand less and supply increases causing lower prices.

I commute about 80 kilometres a day, and see so many people in the Okanagan that drive as if gas is plentiful.

Governments need not get involved.
