Venezuelan presidential candidate Henrique Capriles says Sunday's election has been completely peaceful and that voters are showing they can settle their differences at the ballot box.
Capriles says there has been "absolute peace" during the voting.
The opposition leader cast his ballot at a school in Caracas and says he is wearing his "lucky shoes" for election day, showing off the brown suede shoes. He notes that he's never lost an election.
Capriles is trying to unseat President Hugo Chavez after nearly 14 years in office.
