Cirque can't circumvent travel issues
The Vernon and District Performing Arts Centre Society is extremely disappointed to announce the cancellation of the Special Presentation of Golden Dragon Acrobat’s CIRQUE ZIVA on January 13, 2013 due to unavoidable complications with international travel Visas and American immigration for these foreign touring artists.
The Vernon and District Performing Arts Centre Society was notified on Monday, September 20, 2012 of this by the troupe’s North American agent. It has become very clear that none of the four scheduled Canadian dates will be able to take place in January 2013 and there is currently no discussion of rescheduling this tour.
There are always risks and challenges when working with artists from abroad, although this is an exceptional circumstance.
The Vernon and District Performing Arts Centre Society will ensure that all ticket holders will have the option of exchanging their tickets for other Society presentations or a full refund of their ticket purchase.
Ticket holders are encouraged to contact the Ticket Seller Box Office at 549-SHOW (7469) at their earliest convenience to make appropriate arrangements.
