Grab your friends and get your long weekend started with an incredible night of music from these great local bands.

About the bands:

FIELDS OF GREEN

High Talent, Depth of Perception, Soulful and Heartfelt. These are just some of the elements that make up this cutting edge Canadian musical force. FIELDS OF GREEN are on the cusp of world-wide recognition. A musical journey that started just four years ago, and one that promises to be with us for decades to come. FIELDS OF GREEN began in 2008, and although young, this band belies their age in musical maturity. The four determined musicians hail from the vibrant beach town of Kelowna, British Columbia. Kyle Tubbs (Lead Vocals/Guitar), Kevin Dreger (Keyboards/Bass/Vocals), Connor Tkach (Guitar/Bass/Vocals), and Johnny Jansen (Drums/Vocals), make up this wondrous musical entity.

JOYFUL DOOR

In the fall of 2010 in the drummer's basement, Zac Gauthier and James Balehowsky got together in hopes of writing music that was unique, fresh, exciting, and most of all, thought provoking. As the writing process continued, Kayla Gauthier joined in the spring of 2011 with a passion for piano and vocals. Then to complete the band, Steve Wickenheiser joined in spring 2012. "

"As JoyfulDoor, we continually strive to create music that impacts people’s hearts and minds, with lyrics that speak truth and music that leaves those who listen wanting more."

VAN DAMSEL

God knows the world doesn't need another band. But like that other thing that shares our initials, Van Damsel aspires to be the gift that keeps on giving -- whether you want it to or not.

We are four lads from Kamloops who enjoy 'having a good time,' 'keeping it chill' and 'fun.' We also make music that we want to hear. If you happen to have similar interests as us, and like our music too, well by golly -- listen 'til your heart's content.

We're not here to change the world. Changing our underwear on a daily basis is challenging enough.

WINDMILLS

Born out of the beautiful Okanagan Valley, Windmills was formed in April of 2011 and since then, in an incredibly humbling and extremely year, Windmills has played over dozens of shows and has had the opportunity to open for a wide variety of talented bands such as Library Voices, The Dudes, Wake Owl, and Bend Sinister among other names, as well as opening for a sold out Habitat audience during Kelowna’s POP Okanagan 2011.

Praised for his live shows and originality Windmills has created a buzz and a name already familiar throughout the Okanagan.  Described as an electric indie folk-rock band, Windmills is a one man loop-artist, meaning every song is created and based around looping melodies and percussion as well as vocals during live performances.
